1. Introduction 1.1 The "Logintap for Shopify" software solution provides ability for Shopify merchants to power their store fronts with mobile authentication to their shops by means of mobile biometry and/or messaging. This addition to the Logintap's main privacy policy describes how and what personal information is collected, used, transferred when you as a merchant install or use our application.
1.2 This Clarified Privacy Policy relates only to nuances of the Shopify solution and only adds on top of the general
Privacy Policy, so by no means does it deactivates or superceeds any of the clauses of the general Privacy Policy.
1.3 In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" refer to a group of companies providing the service or the software solution

2. What data we access2.1 For the merchant data we collect from your Shopify account:
(a) personal - name, email, address, phone, geo position
(b) merchant business data - country code, timezone, currency used, measurement units used, taxation status, Shopify plan type, shop's domain, checkout type, payment types, tracking consent
2.1 While fulfilling the contractual authentication solution to you we may collect your end-users emails from either your merchant account (for existing end-users/customers) or directly from your user (for new end-users/customers). We also put in a single technical cookie into your end-users mobile devices to provide proper authentication flow to your end-users.
3. How do we use the above data3.1 We use the data to provide the software solution itself
3.2 We use the data for analytics purposes to better understand how to update the solution and to create better profiles of merchants for future marketing purposes
3.3 We may share your personal and business data with a member of our group of companies
3.4 We NEVER EVER SHARE the personal data of your end-users/customers, OR the technical cookie we use to provide authentication, that data is only used to provide our auth service to that user and stored in encrypted form.
3.5 We do not receive, store or utilize any financial data related to your Merchant and all transactions are ONLY handled by Shopify itself. If anyone contacts you on behalf of our software solution with any request for a payment outside of Shopify application store, you are obligated to contact our support@ or our data protection officer right away.
4. International transfers of your personal data 4.1 If you are or your users are EU residents, note, that the international transfer of your data can happen is regulated by the general Privacy Policy and fully supports GDPR Adequacy Decision rulings and policies.
5. Retaining and deleting personal data 5.1 You and your end-users/shoppers may exercise all the rights of a EU citizen, even if you are such a citizen, as described in the general Privacy Policy, by contacting our support@ or the data breach officer.
5.2 Retaining and deleting personal data is regulated by the general Privacy Policy.
5.3 This software solution also uses Shopify's privacy webhooks, so data deletion request at your Shopify powered shop will automatically have the same effect to the data for the user in this software solution.
6. Amendments 6.1 We may update this policy from time to time by publishing a new version on our website.
6.2 We shall make all the effort to inform you of such changes, however you should check this page occasionally to ensure you are happy with any changes to this policy.
